Tuning Out from the Inner World is an extensive series of pen and ink drawings, enhanced with watercolor — a technique I have developed over the years into a deeply personal language.

These works, miraculously, emerged from years in which art became the force that held me upright more than anything else.

Long fascinated by the work of Hieronymus Bosch, I felt a deep resonance with his visions, yet these drawings were created without direct reference to his work. What emerged is an intensely personal body of work, where imagination, observation, and emotion intertwine freely.

The subjects are diverse, spanning ecology, mysticism, and the delicate tensions between the human and natural worlds. Each piece carries fragments of thought, feeling, and reflection, forming a universe that is uniquely mine.

This series is profoundly dear to me — a testament to endurance, exploration, and the sustaining power of art — and one of the works I feel most fulfilled by.
