Rotelle
Rotelle is a small collection of four pen drawings built around the image of the wheel — circular forms filled with elements, creatures, and symbols all spinning into a vortex. Inspired by the balance and duality of the Yin and Yang, each composition suggests movement, tension, and harmony at once.
Within these rotating universes, forms chase and respond to one another, as if caught in an endless cycle of transformation. The vortex becomes both center and expansion — a place where opposites meet, dissolve, and regenerate.
I created these drawings in Brooklyn, in an environment fertile with creativity and artistic energy. That atmosphere of exchange and momentum is embedded in the work: everything turns, everything influences everything else.
Rotelle is a meditation on balance in motion — on how chaos and order, light and shadow, coexist within the same spinning whole.
