Paradox of truth
The Paradox of Truth is the collection of works exhibited in my solo show of the same name in 2006 at Cantiere San Bernardo (Pisa), which kindly hosted and promoted the exhibition.
The show featured six canvases depicting hands expressing different messages, alongside a large self-portrait simulating a crucifixion. This gesture was meant to ironically reflect my own condition at the time: leaving for the unknown across the ocean, diving headfirst into the art market — a world entirely unfamiliar — while striving to maintain genuine integrity.
Through these works, I explored the tension between appearance and essence, ambition and sincerity, humor and self-reflection. The Paradox of Truth captures that delicate balance: a personal meditation on entering a new world without losing oneself.
